Is there an Average price one should pay to get his, or her Green Beans Roasted ?

We understand that the Volume may play a factor, but is anything else
involved in this Pricing ?

And what seems to be the Average to High Price these days.

Thanks Rick.

You plan to buy green beans then have the roasting done? Or do you want to buy roasted beans direct from a wholesale roaster?

We work with a local roaster on a wholesale level (tax exempt too) and pay an average of $7.00-7.75 per lb. of FRESH roasted beans. Price depends on origin/availability, etc. I do have to buy in 5 lb. increments (except for decaf) and all beans are in sealed foil lined bags with 1-way valves.

To me, more important than just price alone is finding a roaster that will work diligently to meet your needs, expectations, etc. The goal is to find something that is great in taste, fresh, consistent... all at a decent price. Later!

We have done toll roasting in the past. They brought their coffee to our facility. We roasted, ground it and then put it in super sacks. We charged them .$ .90 per pound to do this...

Thank you both for you Input and response,

I sometimes need to make my questions more understandable,

We have Green beans, and will need to find Roasting Facilities,
and were wanting to see what the Roasting Cost would be,

But all of the above information is quite valuable,
Hopefully, we will be able to find the right Roasters,
and provide a quality product at a Superior price that all can make Money on.

That has always been our Goal.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and Your Families,

Thanks Again, Rick H
