If you apply for a business license you will be talking to someone in your city. Not everything allowable by the state is allowed by the city. For example, even though adult bookshops or medical marijuana dispensaries are allowable in our state, our city code keeps them out.
I encourage you to find out if it does apply before you get too far, before you get your hopes up for it to work a certain way. I hope I'm wrong for your sake, but I know this may be something you have to deal with.

Just make sure you do your research and keep everyone happy - the State, County, City, Municipality, and any neighborhood watch dogs who will complain about the smoke from your roaster.
