I'm wondering if anyone has ever had a top-notch or at least decent cup of a java in a place that focused primarily on coffee but also served food but you knew the food was a lost cause?

I'm trying to think of a name that speaks of topnotch coffee AND cuisine (regardless of what the food is) and am just curious as to what names others have come across?

Whoa, Gimme. Can't connect the dots between "lost cause" and "cuisine"

do you mean
A. Great coffee, food you have to choke down
B. Great coffee, mediocre food?
C. Great coffee, great food?

okay

lemme see if I can make this make sense! lol

My vision for our venture is to:

avoid A and B
accomplish C
and
have a name that would reflect C but still tell people that the coffee comes first and the food is just as awesome!

Does that make more sense? lol

The Java Hendrix Experience
French Roast & French Toast
Fusion Cafe (i.e., fusion cuisine, fusion of coffee and food - have you ever marinated flank steak in espresso? yum.)
Full City Bistro (you'd need a coffee at full city roast)
