I’ve realized after years of drinking coffee regularly that all coffee raises my blood pressure. Even decaf. Ive been confused by my fluctuating readings and experimented by not drinking any coffee or taking in any caffeine for a few days, my blood pressure was at a baseline of 120/75. The next day I had a couple of cans of Diet Coke and my blood pressure went to 130/90. The next day I checked the bp and it went down to baseline again. I went to 7-11 and had a disgusting large cup of decaf and the bp went back up to 130/80. The following day it went back to baseline. So I’m surmising that both caffeine and all coffee has the ability to raise it. Anyone else have any similar responses to caffeine and particularly decaf?
