This is a very old post and I was just curious if you are still in Oregon and did you start your business yet?

You should do both if you can!

If your going to also sell baked goods from local shops and grilled panini's your going to need to get ALOT of permits and adding food is going to demand more inspections, more permits and you really should just focus on beverages before going down the "food" world.

Depending on what state(s) you are considering doing business in, I know for a fact in Oregon and Mid-west it really is NOT easier, unfortunately.I am opening 2 drive thrus AND already have the trailer for fairs and festivals but getting all the proper permits for every state, town, county is a VERY time consuming task and can take anywhere from 7 days up to 45 even if in the same state but different counties. Temporary per mits are needed for EVERY location if your doing business under 14 days but more than 1
