Hello,
I found these vintage cans while cleaning my shelves and wondered what they are worth? They're both in great condition, only the HILLS BROS can has a small dent, otherwise they're both rustless and both have the original coffee in them(unopened). They also have the key-looking thing on the bottom and ofcourse they have a few scratches here and there.

Hello "nunnumommi"

Welcome to the Coffee Forums website.

It sounds like those cans of coffee are very old. Vintage is a good word to describe them.

The key-looking thing is something that was around many years ago. The key is used to open the can. You remove the key from the bottom of the can, and hook onto a metal edge that's on the can's lid. Then you carefully twist the key, and peal off the metal seal by going all around the can.

Maybe one of our other forum members would have an idea if there is any value in vintage coffee cans.

I'm guessing they would make great props in a school play.
