Anyone sell, or know where to buy, green beans in low quantities? The best providers I've found so far are happymugcoffee and sweetmarias. I'm particarly Intersted in Bolivian. Sweetmarias offered some great quality Bolivian earlier this year, for about $5/Lb. it was a crowd pleaser! Hard to beat. Looking for 10 to 20 Lb quantities to start.

Thank you, Gregus! * For others like me who are trying to find a particular bean in low-bulk, but can't find a green bean distributor that carries what we're looking for--I've had some luck personally contacting roasting companies who carry the bean I want. Several have been kind enough to reply immediately to let me know if they're able to sell me a small quantity of their stock of green beans. I recommend this method. * Who knows--perhaps if more small roasters like me do the same, some roasting companies might start thinking about ways to profit from doubling as an occasional raw bean distributor. * Or am I being too optimistic?

Yes, thank you, "gregus," and welcome to the Coffee Forum website!

I took a look at the website that you suggested Home Coffee Roasting - Green Coffee Beans and it looks very interesting. Have you purchased anything from them yet? I'm wondering what you think about their customer service.

I'm about to order from Burman Coffee, so I'll let you know how that goes. * I can definitely vouch for Happy Mug Coffee, though! Always quick delivery, great service, good products, and only $8 shipping up to 40 Lbs! You just can't beat that for low-bulk! * (or, can you...?) * - DevinPS.Completely unrelated: how do you create new paragraphs in posts?? I try, but when I go to post it always automatically scrunches everything together. Thus my added spaces and asterisks. Is the problem my iPad/iPhone?

Hi again, "Devindmoon"

I took a look at Happy Mug Coffee, and it looks like the shipping prices are very reasonable.

I'll be interested to hear what you think about Burman Coffee.

I use an old fashioned keyboard and computer when I visit the Coffee Forum to reply to posts, so that's why I can create new paragraphs within my messages. Since you're using an iPad/iPhone, maybe you'll need to tweak something to get it to cooperate. In the meantime, your added spaces and asterisks seem to be working as substitutes for new paragraph spacing.
