Krups is often refered to as the coffee Machine for households. Time after time the name keeps on returning to conversation.

Now I will be in the market for a new coffee Machine and I'd like a little help picking one out. Krups offers so many coffee makers its hard to pick one so your reviews will be helpful!

My existing machine has no timer, all of the Krups come in two models, one with and one without. A show of hands who with a Krups owns which model and what do you think about it. Is it a love - hate situation or just a love without the hate!

hmmm.... I have owned a small Krups one, that worked normally. It was a cheap 4-cupper, so I didn't have any grand expectations from it.

My mum has a 2-pots-at-once model that I believe is from Krups; she bought that brand because my grandmother raved about her Carafe-style Krups. I must caution though that the "emergency water evacuation" hole is too low! You can't fill the resevoir all the way up to 12 cups because it starts leaking on the counter after 11!

My Krups AromaControl

I really like my AromaControl with the insulated carafe. I searched for a long time for a new maker before i finally found this one. I wasn't very familar with Krups, but recognized the quality & features as what i wanted. I had planned to spend around $100, so hesitatied a bit at the $149 price. Since i bought it about a 1.5 years ago, we've easily saved most of the purchase price in coffee that has not been poured out!! And since caffeine is my last vice (having given up tobacco, alcohol, meat, etc.), i deserve a great coffee maker!

I highy recommend the Krups AromaControl !!
