Site Poll: How many cups of coffee do you drink a day on average?

Just wondering what everyone's daily average is... please take part in the poll. Inspired by the following thread here: http://www.coffeeforums.com/forum/coffee-drinks/3130-how-many-cups-coffee-you-drink.html

At least 3 cups. Sometimes I am really jonesin' for some 'joe, I will have an entire pot to myself, and maybe some espresso too. You don't think I have a problem, do you? Lol.

I would say on average I drink 1 cup a day... usually in the morning but sometimes only half a cup which I supplement with an additional half a cup throughout the day.

On the days when I drink more, it's usually 2 but that's maybe once or twice a week max.

Well, when I'm broke, I make enough for 1 or 2 cups. So, I guess I do have a wee bit of a problem. Lol. But it's all good. Without all that coffee, I wouldn't be as legendary as I am at work and on the weekends! Lol.

Umm .. definition of *cup* ? Mine holds aprox. 32 oz. of which I refill till I drink the whole pot (12 cups)

Geez Kris! I have alot of catching up to do! I do maybe 1 a day. Hopefully with some mentoring I will enjoy some finer blends!

I guess it depends how many meetings/taste tests I have - usually 3 but it can get up there though!

2-3 triple shots in the morning, because I drive in San Fran traffic during rush hour...would be suicide without my 'juice'!

Normally about one a day. It depends though. I cant drink a whole pot of coffee like Kris.

Guess I'd have to say 6 cups daily. 3 cups being drip and the other 3 consisting of 8-10 double shots combined since the poll mentions a cup, not a demitasse.
