I am going to buy a used (because I am poor) bulk grinder.
I have been looking at the Bunn G1/2/3 or the Grindmaster 800 series.
Any recommendations?

Background: I advise customers that they should not buy ground coffee as it goes stale quickly.
Good advice but bad for business.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You can always adjust your advice to: buy less more often so that it won't stale before it is used. Sorry, no advice on the grinder...

i have a Bunn G3. very easy to service and change burrs. i bought my from a private owner, not a used supermarket one. as i stated on another thread, look at all the labels on the machine to see if they are worn (obvious sign of hi use). there are only 2 screws holding the dial plate on to access the burrs. easy to remove to inspect burrs for wear. keep in mind, these burr sets run approx. $320. i paid $250 for my grinder, and is a 10/10. real happy with it.
